What Does the County Treasurer Do?
The Lancaster County Treasurer collects and distributes property taxes,
processes motor vehicle titles and registrations, and manages and invests
public funds. The Treasurer does not set property values, tax rates, or the
county budget, but ensures public funds are accurately managed and
distributed according to law.
